The Crystal, New Hope and Robbinsdale Community Police Academy is for adults of all ages and backgrounds who live or work within the three cities and want to learn about their local police department. The no-cost classes are held each fall and run seven weeks, starting in September. Space is limited and participants must commit to attend all seven classes. The deadline to apply is Sept. 8 at 3 p.m.

The 2024 General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 5; abstentee voting is Sept. 20 - Nov. 4. Crystal will have four council seats on the 2024 general election ballot. The term for mayor and three council seats representing Ward 3 and Ward 4 in northern Crystal, and Section I (Wards 1 and 2) in southern Crystal, expire at the end of 2024.

The City of Crystal wants to know how you feel about your city and neighborhood – what it looks like, how safe you feel, how you view public safety services, street maintenance and snow removal, and overall quality of services.
