HOW WE GOT HERE
Starting in early 2025, the Crystal City Council, members of the city’s senior leadership team, and a facilitator held interviews and several strategic planning sessions. Additionally, several council members and a staff member met as a working group to develop a new mission, vision, and values. At these sessions, the group reviewed the current strategic priorities and discussed what current challenges and opportunities the community was facing that should be considered when determining updated priorities and initiatives for the next several years.
