The cities of Robbinsdale, Crystal and New Hope are hosting the 2024 Tri-city Santa Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 5 - 8:30 p.m. In Crystal, the route starts at Welcome Park around 6 p.m. and finishes at 30th and Quebec Ave. N. at approximately 7:15 p.m. Times are subject to change based on weather and traffic conditions.

Organics Recycling
Organics Recycling Charge

According to state law, garbage haulers that have an additional charge for organics recycling must charge all its customers the same, whether or not that customer participates in organics recycling. Local governments cannot opt out of the state requirement that haulers charge all customers for organics recycling equally, nor do cities control the amount haulers can charge.

Sign up for SMART911 Emergency Notifications

The City of Crystal, through the West Metro Fire-Rescue District, is working with Smart911 to notify residents via email, text, phone or social media when there are emergencies. To receive these mass notifications, residents must opt in, sign up for an account and share the varying levels of information that they want police, fire and EMS to utilize when responding to a 9-1-1 call. Residents can sign up for Smart911 here.
