This week, the contractor placed the first layer of pavement
and began restoring the disturbed areas in the yards. Over the next couple of
weeks, crews will clean up the yards, repair the irrigation lines, and apply
topsoil and new sod or seed. Once the new sod is placed, the contractor will be
responsible for watering it for a period of 45 days. At the end of this
maintenance period, we will inspect the sod to ensure it is well-established.
After the new sod is accepted, the maintenance of the sod will become the
responsibility of the property owner.
Once the restoration activities are complete, the contractor
will place the final layer of pavement in approximately two weeks.
