2025 City Street and Utility Project Newsletter (Aug. 14)

The city is making important improvements to your neighborhood’s streets and utilities. Please see the two-week construction schedule below for details about what to expect.
Idaho Ave. Construction Schedule
Aug. 18–22
- Installation of new water and sanitary services to homes early in the week.
- Street reconstruction begins: excavation, fabric, sand, and gravel work in preparation for curb installation.
Aug. 25–29
- Street reconstruction wraps up early in the week.
- Curb and gutter installation begins.
- Concrete driveway installation may also begin.
Jersey Ave. Construction Schedule
Aug. 18–22
- Asphalt removal (reclaiming/grinding).
- Driveways will be removed and temporarily replaced with gravel.
- Temporary water connections will be installed using hoses attached to your outside spigots (this is to maintain water service during watermain construction).
Aug. 25–29
- Utility construction is scheduled to begin.
Traffic and Parking Notice
There will be no on-street parking between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on the following streets during construction:
- Idaho Ave. N. (from 30th Ave. N. to 31st Ave. N.)
- Jersey Ave. N. (from 30th Ave. N. to Medicine Lake Rd.)
Weather Reminders
Please note: Construction activities may be delayed due to weather. The city will notify you of any schedule changes as they happen.
