City COVID-19 Response
Posted on 06/30/2020

All essential and non-essential city services are being provided in Crystal, but to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19, the city is following, and continually updating, its COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.

NOTE: The State of Minnesota has mandated that face coverings are required in indoor businesses and public settings.

Residents and customers are asked to conduct city-related business remotely when possible, utilizing phones, text messaging, mail, email or online information and documents via the city website.

If you have an emergency, including emergencies for public works, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 763-531-1000, email, or visit the city contact page.

State Recommendations:
Minnesota State Health officials continually update a community-level response to slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease COVID-19 in Minnesota.

By limiting social interactions, the transmission of COVID-19 is decreased which helps ensure that the health care sector can prepare for potential increased demands.

The best way to avoid COVID-19 and other respiratory infections is to practice good hygiene:
   • Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds using soap and hot water.
   • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
   • Avoid touching your face, particularly the eyes, mouth and nose.
   • Stay home if you aren’t feeling well.

The full set of recommendations is available here.
