Project Description:  MAC Wildlife Area is a nature-based facility on Metropolitan Airports Commission land.  This area contains a combination of wetland and upland habitat.  The boardwalk around the pond is one of the signature amenities the park, however, sections of the boardwalk have become submerged; making the route around the pond incomplete.  A joint effort between the City of Crystal and Three Rivers Park District will construct 460 linear feet of new pedestrian- only boardwalk around MAC Wildlife Area.  A wood learning station will also be constructed to provide opportunities and groups a chance to get closer to the wetland and water surface.
